We will confirm your accommodation enquiry by telephone or email, which constitutes acceptance of your booking. We will aim to contact you within 24 hours of your enquiry at the latest.

We are happy to respond to questions prior to your stay. We appreciate that you will want a quick response so we will try and get back to you the same day, or within 24 hours. Please note your booking is not confirmed until we have provided you with booking confirmation.  

We can accept payment by credit card through Paypal, which incurs an additional charge of £1.00 per booking if you choose this method of payment for your deposit or £2.50 per booking if you would like to pay the full amount in advance by credit card. This is due to Paypal charges incurred by us. Cheques are acceptable drawn on a UK bank account accompanied by a cheque card covering the full amount.   

2010 rates

Terms and conditions

All bookings are subject to a £20 deposit, which is payable in advance. In the event of cancellation this is non-refundable 
7 days notice is required to cancel a booking. Bookings cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival will incur a fee equal to the cost of one nights accommodation
We reserve the right to refuse any booking
We also reserve the right to cancel your booking in the event of unexpected circumstances 
No smoking is allowed anywhere in the house or the grounds
No pets allowed
Check in is between 4.00 and 6pm unless an alternative time is arranged in advance
Car parking is at your own risk and we do not accept liability for any loss or damage caused
We do not accept liability for any injury incurred during your stay        


As indicated, our accommodation service is aimed at guests wishing to have a peaceful, relaxed stay in the countryside and so do not accept groups of people attending weddings, or stag and hen parties. We hope are guests leave our home as they found it, but in keeping with other establishments in the area we reserve the right to deduct a fee from your credit card in the event of damage, or if smoking in the room means we cannot then let the room the following day. The person booking the accommodation is held responsible for any damage.
